Equipment Classes

Reformer Core

Reformer Pilates group training sessions are performed on a specialised piece of equipment that uses spring resistance for a full-body workout. The reformer can be adjusted to suit your body shape, your flexibility and your strength. We stand, sit, lay down and utilize the pulley system to tone muscles and strengthen the core.

It is mandatory to wear socks for this workout.

Reformer Flow

Reformer Flow takes your reformer workout to the next level. This full body workout on the Pilates Reformer will challenge your balance, endurance and coordination whilst continuing to improve your posture and strength.

You are required to attend at least 5 reformer sessions before taking on Reformer Flow. Please check with your Reformer Core instructor before booking for this class. It is mandatory to wear socks for this workout.

Reformer Cardio

Use the jumpboard and the cardio-tramp rebounder to launch, push, press, balance and have fun. These reformer-based sessions will challenge and motivate you using jumpboard combinations, mixed in with intervals of upper and lower body strength and flexibility exercises. Expect leg burn, tough ab challenges and quick-on-your-feet jumping, in this ultimate cardio and strength interval class. Lots of fun, and tons of benefit.

You are required to attend at least 10 reformer sessions before taking on Reformer Cardio. Please check with your Reformer Core or Reformer Flow instructor before booking for this class.

Pilates Chair

Are you ready for a challenge? Our group Pilates Chair classes include some of the most challenging exercises in the Pilates repertoire. Get ready to work just about every muscle group in your body, and enhance strength, increase stability and balance. A mat is required as well for this class as certain exercises extend partially on the floor.

You must complete at least 5 Core or Flow classes (mat or reformer) with us before you can try this class.

Tower

Have you ever been curious about the Tower on your Reformer or keen to try some Cadillac exercises?

In this class, we will use the Tower (also know as Vertical frame), which is attached to a Reformer, to work through a series of exercises to strengthen and tone the whole body. The Tower uses springs to challenge stability and the push through bar and roll down bar to increase strength and flexibility.

This class is for those who enjoy Reformer and are looking for a new challenge! Get ready though, this class is NOT easy and not for beginners.

For your safety, you must have completed at least 10 Reformer Classes at Real Pilates, before joining a Tower class.
